Celebrate Good Times; But Maybe not like that...
Yesterday Samuel Eto’o put in a commanding performance against Livorno which saw him hit the back of the net twice, the first on an inside of the foot “enveloped” shot and the second a stunning over the head kick. Though his goals were spectacular, his celebration (though great in its own way) was a bit odd… He went on to run towards the corner flag as though he was going...

Rap's and CHEE$E!
“Your cheese is average.” - Rick Ross, Speedin’ (Taken from www.snacksandshit.com/2010/03/474.html) Who doesn’t love cheese? I’ve recently had the pleasure of turning potential trash to edible treasure… One morning upon waking up and reaching for the milk carton I noticed… “The milk’s gone bad” Well, since the milk wasn’t terribly spoiled I thought, why waste 2...

"Even if you had MC Hammer and the 357 B___s"
Still havent got the answer to yesterday’s question? “Come On” featuring Sadat X. In my opinion it’s Biggies most exciting track along with “Gimme the Loot.” Flip it for more video’s… Here’s the official track Also worth a listen, the Frank Sinatra remix

Identify the Record
This track takes you from a gun fight in a gully hood to a 2nd grade math class.  It shouldnt be too tough to identify the song based on the above picture if you’re in the right frame of mind.  The track was officially released in 1998, but was first unleashed in a freestyle battle in ‘94.  The song also includes references to slapping babies and christenings. Still havent got it?...

Diddy You Did it Again
We’ve seen Sean Combs go from Biggie’s boo to J-Lo’s novio, Puff Daddy, P.Diddy, to simply Diddy (or whatever he goes by these days). We’ve heard his ultra sampled tracks and even watched him create terrible bands (one of which features the greatest rapper of all time), but never have we heard him as aweful and pathetic as in his newest single They Don’t Love Me. He got one thing right, if...

Sade is Back!
Who hasn’t at one point had Smooth Operator stuck in their head… It’s pretty refreshing to see Sade make their comeback after a ten year hiatus.  The U.K. outfit have managed to stay sincere to their style in the new album Soldier of Love, and I’m sure any 30+ year old will be relieved to finally hear something on the radio sans auto-tune or any of the new gimmicks used...

The Art of Storytelling... and a Great Horn...

Tuesday's Look-a-like
Anthony Weiner… is he of Hungarian decent? Does he have a past in Neuilly-sur-Seine? Is he… Monsieur le President de la Republique? New York Congressman, Anthony Weiner, has an uncanny resemblance to French President Nicolas Sarkozy. To his credit he has quite a sense of humor… and doesn’t stand at a diminutive 5 foot five inches tall. Yesterday, he appeared on his close friend, and...

How I feel about Valentine's Day...
Read on to find out… SPITEFUL! Hence the song choice. Yeah, Yeah, Yeah…. I know everyones gonna think of me as a triflin’ Debbie Downer scrub, but bump that. Love was never made for just one day, Love was never painted primarily red, and love was never manufactured by hallmark and hershey’s. St. Valentino can kiss my azz and so can you if you buy into this as a...

The Cosby Show, Dancing
We can all agree that Bill Cosby may be the only African American who can’t dance, but who, of all the Huxtable’s and friends, on the opening credits has the best dance? I’m going to have to go with Tempestt Bledsoe at 00:35 on Season 6 and 7 openings. Click here for all of the Cosby Show openings.

IMO: Keep it to yourself!
I’m all for helping the cause, but no need to make it a fashion statement. I think it’s unnecessary to put your religious belief, political affiliation, and even health concern out for the public to see.  Since the livestrong bracelets came out, things have gotten out of hand.  How many times have you seen teen’s wearing over 5 color bracelets at once? Before being so quick...

Question: Does Chrisette Michele have more range...
Flip it to see the answer… Yes, but Lauryn Hill was a part of the Fugees in their prime, so she will always get more props.  They do sound similar though. To her credit though, Michele will always get more props than Pras.

What's Changed?
What’s changed for Charlie Wilson from his Gap Band days to his current solo career? Back in the day the music was better and he took himself less seriously, and today his songs are as silly as that shiny white cowboy get up hes got on in the above video. If R.Kelly sounds as weird as Charlie now, what’s he going to sound like in 20 years. I for one cant wait!

Hold your applause until the end of the speech!
During Obama’s first State of the Union Address much of what we expected was discussed.  He went over the health care plan, the economic crisis, education, blah blah blah… Let’s take a look at some of the stuff that may not be mentioned in the news. 1.       Hold your applause until the end of the speech! If I wanted to watch an empty suit for 2 hours I would have stared at my closet. Take...

Surfer Blood - Astro Coast →
I was definitely hating on the band name before I heard them but I’m digging the Beach Boys meets Journey sound (far out dude). It also helps that they admit that they are not actually surfers. Nothing against surfers, its just the general persona of animatedly self proclaiming surfers is whack to me. Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure ended a long time ago. I don’t get down with that.
